Ifrah backstory
The Tan Clan travels throughout India to collect the finest materials for our hand-embroidered clutches. Hand embroidery is an ancient art form practiced in India for centuries. It’s a part of today’s cultural heritage, with its roots firmly planted in tradition and beauty. The Tan Clan journey starts with collecting the best quality materials like Dabka, Sequins, Kasab, Khichha, pearls(moti), pearl drops(Surai),
Resham, and mirrors. Then it reaches our in-house unit in the heart and soul of India, Delhi. The diversity of this beautiful art form is unparalleled as our artisans come from Lucknow, Bareilly, Agra, and Rajasthan all over India. They use their fingers to create intricate patterns on clutch bags making them a piece of art for you!

Ifrah Journey
At Tan Clan, we believe in the power of art to create beauty and identity. Our artisanal bags are made by a community of karigars. They spend around 12-18 hours of manual handwork crafting each bag with creativity and skilled expertise, taking time and effort to make an embroidered bag uniquely made. Our in-house design team creates a design on paper, which is then transferred to the fabric and the artisan then embroiders the outline and takes a soulful journey to a finished product. Artisans spend around 12-18 hours of manual handwork crafting each bag with creativity and skilled expertise, taking time and effort to make an embroidered bag uniquely made. Our artisanal bags are made by a community of karigars. The Tan Clan family takes pride in their continued employment and tries to uplift their art in these times of fast-forward machine-made products.
